Basically if you go over with your data allowance (and it's not capped thanks to i.e Red Sharer) you will be charged £6.50 extra for every 250mb, but extra 1GB or 2GB is added to your personal allowance when you decide to buy it so in this case you will not be charged £6.50.
From the economical point of view it makes more sense to buy extra 2GB because it only costs you £10... when going over 2GB extra with your data would simply cost you around £53.

How to Connect an Android phone to Vodafone mobile internet

Getting your Android handset online can be a challenge when it comes to putting the settings in manually but don’t worry, we're here to help.
From the home screen:
Tap the Menu button
Tap Settings
Tap Wireless and networks or More... (depending on your version of Android)
Tap Mobile Networks
Tap Access point names
Tap the Menu button
Tap New APN
Enter the following data into the onscreen form, without changing any other settings;
Name - Vodafone Internet
APN - internet (PAYG - pp.vodafone.co.uk)
Username - web (PAYG - wap)
Password - web (PAYG - wap)
MMSC - http://mms.vodafone.co.uk/servlets/mms

From the home screen:

How to connect a windows phone to Vodafone mobile internet

Getting your Windows Phone device online can be a challenge when it comes to putting the settings in manually but don’t worry, the guide below will help you get up and running on the mobile web in no time.
There are some differences in the settings between Windows Phone 8.1 and it's predecessors, Windows Phone 7/7.5/7.8 and Windows Phone 8, so we will look at these separately.
Windows Phone 8.1
From the home screen:
Swipe your finger from right to left across the screen to access the Apps list.
Find and tap on the Settings icon.
Scroll down this list until you find cellular + SIM or Mobile + SIM, then press on it to continue.
Make sure your Data connection is set to On, then scroll down and tap on SIM settings.
At the bottom of the SIM settings page you should find buttons to allow you to edit internet APN and edit MMS APN. Tap on edit Internet APN to modify your internet connection settings. (Please note: On some handsets these buttons are not in the SIM settings page. If this is the case, go back to the main settings menu and tap on access point which will then allow you to edit the APN settings as described in the Windows Phone 8 section below).
Enter the following settings into the onscreen form, without changing any other settings:
APN - internet (PAYG - pp.vodafone.co.uk)
User name - web (PAYG - wap)
Password - web (PAYG - wap)
Press the Save button to save and quit this screen. The save icon looks like a floppy disk, for those of us who remember them!
Now select edit MMS APN.
Enter the following settings into the onscreen form, without changing any other settings:
APN - internet (PAYG - pp.vodafone.co.uk)
Username - web (PAYG - wap)
Password - web (PAYG - wap)
WAP gateway (URL) - 212.183.137.12
WAP gateway port - 8799
MMSC (URL) - http://mms.vodafone.co.uk/servlets/mms

Press the Save button at the bottom of the page to save and quit this screen.

Setting up new APN settings manually isn’t particularly common, and the area we need to work on is buried a little deeper in the handset than other settings. There are separate settings that have to be entered for internet and MMS APNs, just be careful to enter the right information in the right section!

How to connect a windows phone to Vodafone mobile internet

Getting your Windows Phone device online can be a challenge when it comes to putting the settings in manually but don’t worry, the guide below will help you get up and running on the mobile web in no time.
There are some differences in the settings between Windows Phone 8.1 and it's predecessors, Windows Phone 7/7.5/7.8 and Windows Phone 8, so we will look at these separately.
Windows Phone 8.1
From the home screen:
Swipe your finger from right to left across the screen to access the Apps list.
Find and tap on the Settings icon.
Scroll down this list until you find cellular + SIM or Mobile + SIM, then press on it to continue.
Make sure your Data connection is set to On, then scroll down and tap on SIM settings.
At the bottom of the SIM settings page you should find buttons to allow you to edit internet APN and edit MMS APN. Tap on edit Internet APN to modify your internet connection settings. (Please note: On some handsets these buttons are not in the SIM settings page. If this is the case, go back to the main settings menu and tap on access point which will then allow you to edit the APN settings as described in the Windows Phone 8 section below).
Enter the following settings into the onscreen form, without changing any other settings:
APN - internet (PAYG - pp.vodafone.co.uk)
User name - web (PAYG - wap)
Password - web (PAYG - wap)
Press the Save button to save and quit this screen. The save icon looks like a floppy disk, for those of us who remember them!
Now select edit MMS APN.
Enter the following settings into the onscreen form, without changing any other settings:
APN - internet (PAYG - pp.vodafone.co.uk)
Username - web (PAYG - wap)
Password - web (PAYG - wap)
WAP gateway (URL) - 212.183.137.12
WAP gateway port - 8799
MMSC (URL) - http://mms.vodafone.co.uk/servlets/mms

Press the Save button at the bottom of the page to save and quit this screen.

Setting up new APN settings manually isn’t particularly common, and the area we need to work on is buried a little deeper in the handset than other settings. There are separate settings that have to be entered for internet and MMS APNs, just be careful to enter the right information in the right section!

Being a parent with two children whom I've known closely before and after I bought them their own digital cameras, I think I notice that a child with a camera is a child who thinks about her environment. The camera just happens to be a tool that forces a child to actually look at what she's seeing. Clutching a camera all the time, she can't help but be aware that she needs to do something with it that is noteworthy. A camera is something that makes a child look at the world with fresh eyes, and it gently gets you thinking about expressing something with your pictures. And even more so than the conventional camera, thinking and experimenting becomes really fun when you go digital - the results are instantaneous, and that makes the process really engaging. So as a parent, I feel I just need to gently steer her with a few digital photography basics that make sure poor quality results don't get her to lose interest; and I'll need to make sure she has plenty of activities that she would need to take pictures for.
Let's start with a few fun activities for children that could help their budding interest in the art of expressing themselves. My daughters really love the close-up mystery game. One child will take the camera out of the room, and snap a picture of some object really close-up - it could be a vegetable, a part of the body or a part of some familiar toy. She brings it back into the room, and her sister has to look at the close-up shot of a part of an object she's familiar with, and find out what it is. This is such an interesting little activity that even grownups love to do this - there's a popular car review show on TV that has one of these little quizzes at the end of the show each week. We go on day trips out into the country where the children can take pictures of butterflies and little flowers, and learn their names. They would never want to do this if it didn't have a camera.
Another activity is where I teach her digital photography basics (without becoming too pushy) that she can handle. When I would want to play with my mother's camera when a child, she took it as a great way to begin schooling me in the art of photography. She just turned out to be a little too enthusiastic, and even looking at her camera meant that I would soon listen to an hour's lesson about what stance to use and how each kind of angle affected the lighting. I learned my lesson then, and now, when my daughters try to use their cameras, I make sure that the lessons I give them are few and far between.
I find ways to show them how to hold the camera steady, and to actually compose their shots before they press the shutter button. I show them how their subject looks prettier when they don't rush into it. I have them check out the angles and the backgrounds they will frame their subject against. It shows them the value of patience and how a background that has the least bit going on, and is the simplest to look at , can be the best way to bring out the subject to the fore. I also ask them to pick their subjects wisely. They need to look at something that really piques their interest; I keep asking them about how they see the picture in their mind's eye, and I won't let them touch the button until they see on the screen exactly what they see it in their imagination. And they need to make sure that the shot is close enough to actually bring the subject out in enough detail. I feel that teaching them the value of experimentation and patience are the most important lessons in the way I coach them in digital photography basics. More often than not, it's the thought behind the shot that counts - not any technical perfection.

How to enable JavaScript on your computer system
JavaScript is a standard programming language for the World Wide Web. JavaScript programs are downloaded along with Web pages and run on your computer to provide functionality such as menus, sounds, and other interactive features. By default, Firefox enables the use of JavaScript on your computer system and requires no additional installation. However, JavaScript can also be used to do things that some users find undesirable. While the JavaScript settings in Firefox are configured to provide a safe experience on the web, they can be reviewed and changed. Web programmers can include JavaScript programs to make using their Web pages easier. JavaScript can enable links, edit data, help you fill in forms, and do many other useful things. Most complex sites, like Internet e-commerce and banking sites, use JavaScript.
JavaScript is fundamentally safe. While designing JavaScript the programmers omitted the ability to write to your disc thereby making sure that your computer is not damaged. JavaScript has been accused of altering the page layout and opening unwanted windows on the screen but these are not hindrances when we take into account that they don’t damage our system in any manner. These little things are annoying, but Modern browsers can intercept and prevent the worst of the annoyances.
In Microsoft Internet Explorer enabling JavaScript also enables VB Script, Microsoft's proprietary Web scripting language. VB Script does not have the inherent safety features of JavaScript. For that reason, if you use Internet Explorer, you may want to leave VB Script (and JavaScript) turned off unless you need it. Only Internet Explorer can run VB Script programs within the browser. If you use any browser other than Internet Explorer, you do not need to worry about this.
To enable JavaScript on your system please follow the steps in a sequential manner:
1. Select the "Tools" menu
2. Select "Internet Options..."
3. Click on the "Security" tab.
4. Click on the "Custom Level."
5. Select the "Scripting" section.
6. Enable (with the radio button) "Active Scripting."
7. Click "OK."
I think now you have finished everything and Javascript is enabled on your computer system .

Is Vista a Slow Performer?
Microsoft, over the years has been a pioneer in providing OS. Being a leader it has attracted more than its fair share of criticism. When Vista was launched, it was expected to take computing to next level especially it was following the most successful Os till date, Windows XP. There have been an increasing number of complaints about the performance of Vista. Lets try and analyze how true the statement is by comparing these OS.
Vista is simply a bigger OS than Windows XP. It has a better background services which index your documents, maintain the hard drive, looks for malware, performs backups and the like. Vista grabs more than three times as much memory as XP, even before running any applications. Vista handles graphics more in the manner of video games, using a software library called DirectX designed to exploit hardware-accelerated graphics, DirectX is also used in Windows XP, but Vista uses it throughout, not just for games. These generally use an older graphics library called GDI (Graphics Device Interface).
In Windows XP this was hardware accelerated, but in Vista this no longer holds true. Instead, they are mapped through DirectX. The new system also holds GDI windows in memory twice over; contributing to Vista’s memory bloat. Microsoft did this to enable fancy graphic effects. Microsoft Architect Greg Schechter observes on his blog (tinyurl.com/2y3×3c), “Today and for the near future, most applications use and will continue to use GDI to render their content.
“Go back 10 years to 1997 and let’s compare this machine to the “craputer” of the 1997 day, a Cyrix MediaGX 166MHz with a whole 16MB ram running Windows95. The difference is amazing. I took a look at the vista scores most had and 2-3 were not uncommon! (My machine is a healthy 6.5) and their low scores really did show in everything from the clicking of the mouse to opeing basic office apps which was a 30 second endurance. Think again unless you have LOTS to spend on a fast enough machine. Vista is not so slow it is a future OS. It is a further proof of the old computing industry maxim about processor speed improvements versus software features: what Intel gives, Microsoft takes away.
